Why Deliver with Wolt
Freedom & Flexibility
You decide when and where you want to deliver. Go online anywhere in your city during operating hours — no minimum hours, no mandatory shifts. Take breaks whenever you want, and go offline whenever you feel like it.

Choose Your Vehicle
Deliver by car, motorbike, e-bike, or bicycle — whichever suits you best. Your vehicle, your choice.

Fair Order Assignment
Wolt's algorithm matches orders to couriers based solely on location, vehicle type, and availability. No personal bias — just getting orders to customers as fast as possible. You're always free to accept or decline.

Required Documents
You'll need to upload documents at two stages during onboarding: identity verification and contract signing. In Estonia you'll also need an Entrepreneur Account (either directly with EMTA or through LHV) before you can be paid.
Stage 1 — Identity Verification
Pick the option that matches your situation. If you apply to deliver by car, you'll also need to submit a driving licence.
Document | Details | Status |
Selfie + EU Passport | Valid EU-issued passport | Required (Option A) |
Selfie + EU National ID | Valid EU-issued National ID card (front & back) | Required (Option B) |
Selfie + Residence / Working Permit | Valid Estonian residence or working permit issued by the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board (PPA) (front & back) | Required (Option C — non-EU) |
Driving Licence | Valid driving licence with type B (car) — front & back | Car couriers — additional |
Non-EU residents
If you're not an EU/EEA citizen, your PPA-issued residence or working permit is your primary identity document for Wolt onboarding. The permit must be valid for the full duration of the partnership — expiring permits are the most common cause of account re-verification requests.
Stage 2 — Entrepreneur Account & Contract Details
In Estonia, courier partners deliver as self-employed contractors. To be paid, you'll need one of the following Entrepreneur Account setups:
Option A — EMTA Entrepreneur Account
Open directly with the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (EMTA)
Tax is withheld automatically at source, so there's no quarterly filing to manage yourself
You don't need a separate bank account beyond the one linked to your EMTA Entrepreneur Account
Option B — LHV Entrepreneurs Account
Open with LHV Pank — a private-bank wrapper around the EMTA Entrepreneur Account
Same tax treatment as the EMTA option, but managed through the LHV banking app
Recommended if you already bank with LHV or prefer a single app for both banking and tax
Which one should I pick?
Both options are accepted — the choice is purely about which interface you prefer.
EMTA is free and government-run. LHV is a paid private-bank wrapper but lets you see income, tax and banking in one place. You can also start with one and switch later.
What we'll ask for on the contract
Your personal ID code (isikukood)
Your Entrepreneur Account number (from EMTA or LHV)
A valid bank account / IBAN for payouts
Important
We will not be able to send your earnings if you haven't set up your EMTA or LHV Entrepreneur Account before submitting your contract details. Please do not email personal documents — upload them securely through the Wolt Partner App.
