Everything you need to know about delivery gear

You will need delivery gear that is suitable for your vehicle type and meets applicable food safety requirements.

The required bag setup depends on your vehicle type:

• bike courier partners need one bike delivery bag

• car courier partners need two car delivery bags to support hot and cold separation during delivery

You can order gear through the Wolt gear webshop. If you want to use another type of delivery bag, it must meet the same standards as Wolt bags, including proper thermal insulation and food safety. Please contact Support through the Wolt Partner App before using it for deliveries.

You can find the gear you need for deliveries in the Wolt gear webshop. In the webshop, you can choose a gear kit that matches your delivery vehicle or select individual gear items.

While you are not required to use delivery gear provided by Wolt, we strongly recommend using Wolt gear, as it is designed to meet food safety requirements and helps ensure a consistent delivery experience.

If you want to use another type of delivery bag, it must meet the same standards as Wolt bags, including proper thermal insulation and food safety. Please contact Support through the Wolt Partner App and provide proof that the bag meets these requirements before you use it for deliveries.

Delivery bags for cars and bikes in Estonia are provided under a refundable €50 deposit. All other gear items are provided without a deposit.

In the webshop, you can choose a gear kit that matches your delivery vehicle or select individual gear items. Delivery bags are mandatory, while all other gear items are optional.

Although a €1 price may be shown in the webshop for some items, this is for technical reasons only and will not be deducted from your earnings. 

Once returned gear has been processed, any applicable deposit will be refunded.

If your gear is broken, please submit a return request using the gear return form and follow the return instructions. You will need to order new gear through the Wolt gear webshop. 

The deposit for returned delivery bags will be refunded once the gear has been received and processed.

If your gear is lost or stolen, please contact Support through the Wolt Partner App. You will also need to order new gear through the Wolt gear webshop.

To return gear, please submit a return request using the return form in the support section of the Wolt Partner App. After submitting the request, our delivery partners will arrange a collection of the gear from you. Please make sure the gear is packed in the same way it was received.

If you need replacement gear, please order it through the Wolt gear webshop. Returned gear and replacement orders are handled separately.

Once the returned gear has been processed, any applicable deposit will be refunded.

You can make deliveries using a car, motorcycle, scooter, or bicycle.

You can also change your delivery vehicle during your partnership, as long as you meet the requirements for that vehicle and use the correct delivery bag and other gear for your chosen vehicle type.

Yes, courier partners are responsible for their own fuel and other vehicle-related costs when making deliveries.

Yes — you can change your delivery vehicle at any time.

Please inform Support through the Wolt Partner App when you want to switch vehicles. If you change your vehicle type, you may also need different delivery gear. Your delivery bag and gear must always match the vehicle type you use for deliveries.

If you switch to a motorized vehicle, you may also be asked to provide a valid driver's license.
