Essentials at a glance

Age-restricted products

Delivering age-restricted products can mean more orders and earnings - but it’s optional and governed by law. This section lives on your regulations hub, so you don’t need a separate trip for the basics.

Before you hand over

1

Ask for valid ID

Passport, national ID card, or driver’s license — check it is valid and the person is 18 or older.

2

Match the order

The name on the ID must match the name on the order.

3

Assess condition

Do not hand over if the customer is visibly intoxicated.

4

If anything fails

Do not complete the delivery. Contact Support immediately and ask the customer to contact Support as well.

State Revenue Service

Tax information

As individual contractors, you are legally responsible for fulfilling tax declaration and payment duties under national regulation.

Wolt shares tailored information prepared by the Latvian State Revenue Service (SRS). For questions about your obligations, contact SRS directly using the contacts in their materials.

How to get a successful self-employed certificate

1

Register with SRS

Before starting economic activity, register with the State Revenue Service. Indicate the correct main activity type (NACE2) when registering.

2

Use EDS — “Dokumenti”

EDS: Dokumenti → List of Documents → No veidlapas → Nodokļu maksātāju reģistrācijas un datu izmaiņu veidlapas → Nodokļu maksātāja (fiziskas personas) reģistrācija. Complete and submit.

3

Choose the right questionnaire

Select “Saimnieciskās darbības veicējs”. Other economic activity types are not valid within the Wolt self-employed service agreement.

4

Confirm registration

After approval you’ll receive a letter from SRS. Verify your entry in the public database: www6.vid.gov.lv/SDV
