Q: How and where do I hand in my documents?

Once you have been invited to the next steps, you can log in to the Wolt Partner App and upload your documents there. For security reasons, please don't email your personal documents to us.

Q: Is it possible to do deliveries in multiple cities as a Wolt courier partner?

An active Courier Partner can be online in one city. If you are already partnering with Wolt and you want to express your interest in changing your delivery city, you can reach out to the support team.

Q: When can I start delivering?

Once you have been invited and gone through all the steps in the Onboarding Process, you can be able to go online and start making deliveries whenever you would like to.

Q: Why didn't my invitation to start the process arrive yet?

We will contact you directly as soon as there is a demand for Courier Partners in your area. If you would like to make a change to your application, such as the vehicle or delivery city, feel free to reach out to us at Wolt Partner app and we will make the change for you.

Q: How are tasks allocated to a courier partner?

Wolt’s algorithm offers delivery requests, ‘tasks’, equally to Courier Partners based only on your proximity to the pick-up location (i.e. restaurant or merchant), the vehicle type, and your current activity status (available for deliveries, busy with ongoing deliveries or offline). Q: Can I share my account with others as a Wolt courier partner?

Exposing customers’ data privacy is a serious breach of the Service Agreement between Wolt and Courier Partners. It is also a break of trust that the customer has placed in our services.

Q: What does delivering through Wolt offer that a traditional delivery job does not?

Delivering with Wolt is all about flexibility and freedom. Courier Partners are free to take all the breaks whenever they would like to. What this means in practice: Wolt Courier Partners do not have to inform Wolt if they don’t want to go online and they can stay online/offline as long as they want to.

Wolt is a platform that connects customers, restaurants and shops, and courier partners. 🙌 We offer you the opportunity to use the Wolt courier partner app any day and at any time of your convenience to increase your revenue by delivering your orders.

The quality of your deliveries can have a direct impact on earnings. Customers who are satisfied with the service they receive may place more orders in the future. 🤑 And more orders = more income. 🤑 That's why it's worth delivering orders professionally, and following the rules and regulations.

Features of a Wolt courier partner

We value freedom and flexibility. You decide when you want to deliver your orders and you are also free to log in from anywhere in the city during the hours our platform is open. You also choose your delivery area, so remember that you have to log in within that city. The most suitable order for you will appear on the screen and you decide whether you want to accept it or not. Behind this magic is the Wolt algorithm, which matches orders with the right courier partner. This depends on location and vehicle type, so it's important to note that there's no personal bias or preference - it's simply the algorithm's aim to deliver orders to our customers as quickly as possible. 🚀 Whether you like to drive motorized vehicles like cars or motorbikes or prefer to get around the city by bike, you choose how to get from A to B. 🛵 And from day one, we'll help you with the necessary gear. What do you need to be a Wolt courier partner?

During the verification stage, you will need the following documents:

If you apply to deliver by car, you also need to submit:

Driving license (Front and back sides)

Valid Latvian-issued national ID card (Front and back sides)
Valid Latvian-issued ID card stating “LATVIJAS NEPILSONIS” (Non-Latvian/stateless Citizen, but special legal status)
Valid Latvian-issued Alien Passport stating “Nepilsona Pase” on the top left corner (Non-Latvian Citizen/stateless, but special legal status)
Valid driving license with permit for car delivery (Front and back sides)

During the signed stage, you will need the following information:

LVA - COMPANY

Company registration number + name + IBAN
FVS number registered with the company registration number
If you’re not the company, the service agreement must be signed by the company owner.

What do I need to know before applying?

It is very easy to get started as a Wolt Courier Partner. We are always looking for new courier partners to cooperate with Wolt. Before you can apply, you would need to meet the following checklist. Checklist: * You are 18 years or older * You can deliver in one of our active Wolt cities * You have the right to work * You have a bank account * You have either a bike, e-bike, scooter, or car to deliver with

If you can say “yes” to all of the bullet points, you are eligible to become a Wolt Courier Partner. You can apply either by clicking “Apply now” or downloading the Partner App. We look forward to receiving your application.

What happens after I apply?

Once you have submitted your application details, there might be a waiting period until you've been invited to proceed with the onboarding process. You will then need to verify your identity, choose your type of contract, upload your contract details, and sign the agreement. After this, Wolt will review your application and contract details, and once approved, you can get your gear How long does the application review take? The time it takes to review your application depends on the number of available opportunities in the city you’re applying for. It may also be longer if any information is missing or if issues arise during the verification or contract review process. Unfortunately, we’re not able to speed up the application process.

Onboarding FAQ

How many hours can a Courier Partner deliver with Wolt?

As many as you like!

It is your own decision how many hours you want to deliver. There is no minimum requirement, and you do not have to book or register your hours in advance. Simply deliver when you like and take time off whenever you feel like it.

If you would like to optimize your earnings, we recommend that you deliver during our peak hours between 11:00 and 13:00 as well as between 17:00 and 20:00.

How and where do I hand in my documents?

Is it possible to do deliveries in multiple cities as a Wolt courier partner?

Is it possible to do deliveries in multiple countries as a Wolt courier partner?

Unfortunately transferring between Wolt countries is not possible (at least not yet, at this moment). Each country has its own legal requirements and thus, each country has its own onboarding processes. This means that you would need to apply to each country separately and start the application process from the beginning, even if you are already a Courier Partner in a different country. Your application will be processed as any other new application.

You can contact your current country’s team and ask them to end the cooperation and offboard your account. Then you can apply to new country using the same contact details (email address and phone number). You will not be able to apply with the same email address you are using unless your account is offboarded first.

Can Wolt courier partners make deliveries for competitors of Wolt?

Yes, definitely. As an independent contractor, Courier Partners have total freedom to cooperate or engage in an employment relationship with other companies and to decide when and how long they would like to make deliveries with Wolt.

Some Courier Partners have other sources of income besides making deliveries with Wolt. Some Courier Partners choose to dedicate more of their time to only making deliveries with Wolt. Those are all within Courier Partners’ right as an independent contractor.
