Active Wolt City

You have an appropriate vehicle to deliver with.
Required Documents
You'll need to upload documents at two stages during onboarding: identity verification and contract signing. In Norway you'll also need to choose between two contract setups — Freelancer or Contractor (Company) — before you can start delivering.
Stage 1 — Identity Verification
Pick the option that matches your situation. If you apply to deliver by motorbike or car, you'll also need to submit a driving licence.
Document | Details | Status |
Selfie + EU/EEA Passport | Valid EU/EEA-issued passport | Required (Option A) |
Selfie + EU/EEA National ID | Valid EU/EEA-issued National ID card (front & back) | Required (Option B) |
Selfie + Norwegian Residence Permit | Valid NOR-issued residence permit card (front & back) | Required (Option C — non-EU) |
Driving Licence — Type A | Valid EU/EEA-issued (or Ukrainian-issued*) driving licence with permit type A — for motorbike applicants | Motorbike couriers — additional |
Driving Licence — Type B | Valid EU/EEA-issued (or Ukrainian-issued*) driving licence with permit type B — for car applicants | Car couriers — additional |
*Ukrainian-issued driving licences are accepted only for Ukrainian applicants.
Non-EU residents
If you're not an EU/EEA citizen, your NOR-issued residence permit card is your primary identity document for Wolt onboarding. The permit must be without work limitations and valid for the full duration of the partnership - expiring or work-restricted permits are the most common cause of account re-verification requests.
Stage 2 — Choose Your Contract Setup
In Norway, courier partners deliver either as a Freelancer (sole proprietor) or as a Contractor (Company) through their own registered company. The documents you'll need depend on which setup you choose.
Option A — Freelancer (sole proprietor)
You deliver in your own name as a self-employed individual. This is the simplest option for most new courier partners.
Local Norwegian bank account and IBAN - for receiving your payouts
Proof of registration / Residence letter (Registreringsbevis) - for EU/EEA citizens, except Nordics that clearly needs to state your D/ID number, full name and your norwegian address from Skatteetaten. NOR issues Residence Permit (Oppholdskort) - For citizens outside the EU/EEA are required to hold a physical Norwegian residence card as proof of their legal status to work.
Proof of vehicle ownership(Bevis på kjøretøyets eierskap) - applicable to car, van, motorcycle and moped courier partners. The document must state your ownership of the vehicle and local registration in Norway. Use the Vognkort from vegvesen.no
HMS card (Health, Environment, Safety /Helse, Miljø, Sikkerhet) - If you deliver with car or van, then HMS card is required to deliver as a courier partner - this is as per the guidelines of the local authority. Make sure to upload a picture of your receipt and/or your order number of your HMS card. You can read more about how to apply at our HMS section.
Option B — Contractor (Company)
You deliver through your own registered company. Choose this if you already operate a company or want to deliver under a business structure.

Proof of registration / Residence letter (Registreringsbevis) - For EU/EEA citizens, except Nordics that clearly needs to state your D/ID number, full name and your norwegian address from Skatteetaten.

Proof of company (Registreringsbevis av ditt firma) - the courier partner must be the owner of the company, and you'll need to provide the company's organisation number through a certificate from Brønnøysund Register Centre.
HMS card (Health, Environment, Safety /Helse, Miljø, Sikkerhet) - If you deliver with car or van, then HMS card is required to deliver as a courier partner - this is as per the guidelines of the local authority. Make sure to upload the front and the backside of your HMS card. You can read more about how to apply at our HMS section.
Which one should I pick?
Most new courier partners start as a Freelancer- it's the simplest option and you can switch to a Company setup later if your situation changes. Choose Contractor (Company) only if you already have a registered Norwegian company and want to deliver under it.
