Pharmacy delivery

We currently support the delivery of over-the-counter medicines and non-medical products from pharmacies through the Wolt App.

If your pharmacy has an app or website, you can use Wolt Drive, our on-demand delivery solution, connect it to our courier partner network, and deliver prescription medicine.

Wolt Courier Partners are prompted to check a customer’s ID to verify their identity prior to handing over and completing the delivery. After verifying the customer’s identity, the delivery may be completed. Customers will also be reminded that they must be at the door with a valid ID when the delivery is being made.

In the customer flow, when a medical product that could require advice is added to the basket, the customer has to choose either that they do or that they don't want medical advice. Then the order passes to the pharmacy’s system where it is processed and advice is given if required. Only after processing by the pharmacy, the order can be transferred to Wolt's courier partner for delivery. No medicine order can be passed on to delivery without the pharmacy having processed and accepted/rejected the order.

Customers are able to find and browse your store through the Wolt app or website and select items to purchase—similar to any other Wolt order. At checkout, however, if the basket includes otc-items the customer is served a notice, that they must agree to ID verification terms. These terms state that the order recipient will present a valid government ID when receiving the order. Once the Wolt Courier Partners arrives, the customer presents their ID and only after that the courier partner is allowed to deliver the order.
