How to connect your Restaurant POS with Wolt

Receive all your orders in one place and simplify your operations

Overview

Please note that this guide is only relevant for Wolt Restaurant Partners. If you are a Retailer, check this and this guide.

Connect your POS system with Wolt to receive delivery orders directly in your existing system — just like your in-store orders.

With a POS integration, you can reduce manual work, avoid order errors, and manage everything from one place.

Why integrate your POS with Wolt?

INtegrating your POS with Wolt helps you:

  • Receive Wolt orders directly in your POS

  • Avoid manually entering orders from a tablet

  • Reduce order errors

  • Keep menus and pricing synced automatically

  • Save staff time during busy hours

  • View all sales reporting in one system

Instead of managing multiple devices and updating menus in different places, everything flows through your POS.

What is a POS system and what does integration mean?

A point-of-sale (POS) system helps you manage orders, payments, sales reporting, and inventory.

An integration connects Wolt to your POS system. This allows:

  • Orders: Wolt orders to automatically appear in your POS

  • Menu: Menu updates made in your POS to sync with Wolt

  • Venue hours& availability: Store hours and availability to stay aligned

In simple terms: your systems talk to each other so your team doesn’t have to manage everything manually.

What is a middleware partner?

Some POS systems connect directly with Wolt. Others use a middleware partner.

A middleware partner is a service that helps connect Wolt to your POS system. They make sure orders, menus, and store information sync correctly between systems.

If you're unsure whether you use a middleware provider, your POS provider can confirm this for you.

What do I need before starting?

Before setting up the integration, make sure you have:

  • An active contract with Wolt

  • A compatible POS system or middleware provider (check out our Catalogue to see which POS/MWP are integrated)

  • A menu created in your POS system

Your POS or middleware provider will help confirm that your menu is ready for integration.

How do I request a connection?

I’m new to Wolt

First, complete the new merchant onboarding process and get access to the Wolt Merchant Portal.

You can sign up here to get started.

Once onboarding is complete, contact your POS provider to enable the Wolt integration.

I’m already a Wolt merchant

To start receiving orders directly in your POS, contact your POS provider or middleware partner and request a Wolt integration.

You can check the Wolt Partner Catalog to see which POS and middleware providers are supported in your country.

Your provider will guide you through the setup process.

What happens after I request an integration?

Once you've requested the integration, here’s what typically happens:

1. Complete POS-specific setup

Your POS provider may ask you to:

  • Review and approve your menu

  • Confirm store hours

  • Check pricing and product availability

They will guide you through any required updates.

2. Activate the integration

After setup is complete, your provider will request activation.

The activation process usually takes 1–2 weeks.

You’ll receive a confirmation email once everything is ready — and then you can start receiving Wolt orders directly in your POS.

POS Integration FAQ

What happens to my existing orders and menus?

After integration:

  • All new Wolt orders will flow directly into your POS

  • Your Wolt menu will match the menu in your POS

This helps ensure accuracy and reduces the need for manual updates.

Will my Wolt store settings change?

No. Your store settings and information will remain the same.

The main change is that your menu will now sync from your POS, and orders will flow directly into your system. You will now rely on your POS for all in-store operations and do not need to use Wolt’s tablet - one less device to keep an eye on during busy times!

Will my Wolt login credentials change?

No. Your Wolt login credentials remain the same. They are only needed to connect your Wolt store to your POS system.

Don’t remember your login? Read our guide on how to log in to the Merchant Portal.
