Summary of the Gift Card Terms and Conditions 

This is only a short summary of the Gift Card Terms and Conditions. In case of contradiction between this summary and the main Terms and Conditions, the latter shall prevail. Capitalized terms shall have the meaning ascribed to them under the main Terms and Conditions.

The issuer of the Gift Card is Wolt Enterprises Israel Ltd. and its successors, assigns and transferees.

The Gift Card may only be redeemed towards eligible order placed on wolt.com or through the Wolt mobile app (“Wolt Platform”), from all suppliers offered by Wolt, as specified on the Wolt Platform, from time to time. 

The validity of a Gift Card is 5 years from the date of issuance in accordance with the applicable law.

Wolt will act to recover the accumulated balance of a Gift Card that was lost or stolen, at the request of a person who is seen as the legal holder of a Gift Card, unless if it is unable, after reasonable efforts, to identify the Gift Card of that applicant for the purpose of recovering the balance, and provided that there is an accumulated balance in the Gift Card at the time of the application.

Gift Cards can be purchased for the amounts specified here and no fees will apply to them (other than their purchase value). 

The maximum value of a single gift card is 1,500 ₪.

You may cancel the purchase of an unused Gift Card by reaching out to support@wolt.co.il or to the customer service chat in the Wolt’s Service within 14 days of purchase in accordance with the applicable law, subject to cancellation terms detailed in the Gift Card Terms and Conditions and in the User Terms of Service. Please note that only the paying user may cancel a Gift Card.

In the event of cancellation, Wolt may charge you with cancellation fee at the rate of 5% of the Gift Card purchased price or NIS 100, whichever is lower, all in accordance with the applicable law. Also and without derogating from the aforesaid, for cancellations of Gift Cards purchased with a Cibus card, please contact Cibus directly. Such cancellations are subject to Cibus cancellation policy. 

Gift Cards Terms and Conditions The following Gift Card Terms and Conditions describe the terms and conditions that apply to use of the Wolt Gift Cards (the “Gift Cards”). These Gift Card Terms and Conditions are between you, the Gift Card holder, and Wolt, as detailed in the User Terms of Service. By purchasing, accepting, or using a Gift Card, you agree to both these terms and conditions (the “Gift Card Terms and Conditions”) and also the Wolt User Terms of Service (“User Terms of Service”). If you do not agree with the Terms and Conditions, do not purchase, use, or accept the Gift Card. 

You may cancel the purchase of an unused Gift Card by contacting Wolt support through the Wolt Service or via email (support@wolt.co.il), within 14 days of purchase in accordance with the applicable law and subject to cancellation terms detailed in the User Terms of Service. Please note that only the paying user may cancel the purchase of a Gift Card.  

In the event of cancellation, Wolt may charge you with cancellation fee at the rate of 5% of the Gift Card purchased price or 100 ₪, whichever is lower, all in accordance with the applicable law. Also and without derogating from the aforesaid, for cancellations of Gift Cards purchased with a Cibus card, please contact Cibus directly. Such cancellations are subject to Cibus cancellation policy. 

 The Gift Cards are closed-loop gift cards; the Gift Cards are not debit or credit cards. The Gift Cards are issued by Wolt, however, it may assign its obligations with respect to the Gift Card at any time, in which case such assignee shall become the issuer and sole legal obligor to the Cardholder. Wolt Enterprises Oy and its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Wolt Group Companies”) other than the local Wolt entity issuing the Gift Card bear no responsibility or liability for any Gift Cards, and you hereby knowingly release Wolt Group Companies from any and all liability or claims of any nature whatsoever arising in connection with the Gift Card.

You may redeem Gift Cards only towards any eligible order placed on wolt.com or through the Wolt mobile app (“Wolt Platform”) from all suppliers offered by Wolt, as specified on the Wolt Platform from time to time.

Wolt reserves the right to change the way of redeeming Gift Cards and/or limit and/or change the eligible orders that can be made using Gift Cards at its sole discretion. Gift Cards shall be redeemed uniformly with respect to all suppliers from whom an order can be placed . 

Gift Cards have a validity of 5 years from the date of issuance in accordance with the applicable law, after which the value of the Gift Cards expires. You may request to renew the validity of an expired Gift Card for an additional period of 5 years, in accordance with the applicable law, by contacting us at customer service chat in Wolt’s Service or at support@wolt.co.il and placing a request for renewal. No fees apply to Gift Cards. We further reserve the right to deactivate, cancel or suspend Gift Cards when we suspect fraud, unlawful activity, or any violation of the Terms and Conditions or the User Terms of Service.

Gift Cards may not be returned and are not redeemable for cash except when required by applicable law. Gift Cards may not be resold. Gift Card amounts may not be increased or reloaded. When you make a purchase with a Gift Card that has a balance that is less than the total purchase price, the difference must be paid using another form of payment available in your account.

A Gift Card is valid only if obtained directly from the Wolt Service or from an authorized third-party distributor. A Gift Card is not valid and will not be honored, and Wolt will not be liable, if obtained from unauthorized sellers or resellers, including through Internet auction sites.

Lost, damaged or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced or replenished. Wolt is not responsible for unauthorized Gift Card use. Notwithstanding the above, Wolt will act to recover the accumulated balance of a Gift Card that was lost or stolen at the request of a person who is seen as the legal holder of the Gift Card, unless if it is unable, after reasonable efforts, to identify the Gift Card of that applicant for the purpose of recovering the balance, and provided that there is an accumulated balance in the Gift Card at the time the applicant applied as mentioned.

The maximum value for a single Gift Card is 1,500 ₪. Wolt reserves the right to block further redemptions should this threshold be exceeded.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF LAW WOLT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO ANYONE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES OF ANY TYPE OR KIND IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH GIFT CARDS. WOLT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY WHICH MAY BE INCURRED BY YOU, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH GIFT CARDS, EVEN IF WOLT AND/OR ITS LICENSORS HAVE BEEN PREVIOUSLY ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, IN THE EVENT A GIFT CARD IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, WILL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF THAT GIFT CARD.

Disputes arising from these Gift Card Terms of Service shall be resolved by the competent courts of the country where the User is located. A consumer may, however, always institute proceedings in the competent court of its domicile. If you are a User domiciled in the EU, you and Wolt may also use the ODR platform managed by the European Commission to settle disputes. This platform can be found on ec.europa.eu/odr. You may also refer a dispute to the consumer disputes board or other corresponding out-of-court institution in your domicile (such as, by way of example, the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board, kkv.fi/kuluttajaneuvonta, in Finland, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, coi.cz, in the Czech Republic or the Polish Permanent Amicable Consumer Court at the competent Provincial Inspectorate of Trade Inspection, uokik.gov.pl, in Poland).

 Wolt reserves the right to change these Gift Card Terms and Conditions from time to time in its discretion without special notice to you, unless such notice is required by Law. Notice of changes will be by reasonable means, which may be by email to the email address submitted to the Wolt Service by you, by posting of the revised version of these Gift Card Terms and Conditions on this website or on the Wolt Service (“Updated Terms”). Your use of a Gift Card after Wolt has posted the Updated Terms constitutes your agreement to the Updated Terms. The Updated Terms will be effective as of the time of posting, or such later date as may be specified in the Updated Terms and will apply to your use of a Gift Card from that point forward. The date of the last update to these Gift Card Terms and Conditions is indicated on this page, and any change in the date of these Gift Card Terms and Conditions shall constitute notice to you that the Gift Card Terms and Conditions have changed.
