📦 Getting your gear

You can order gear through the Wolt gear webshop. In Lithuania, delivery bags are mandatory while all other gear items are optional.

You can choose a gear kit that matches your delivery vehicle or select individual gear items in the webshop.

In Vilnius, courier partners also have the option to choose warehouse pickup or postal delivery.

How to clean and handle your bag? 

During a delivery

You should keep the bag closed, except when you are putting an order in or taking it out. This helps reduce the risk of contamination.

You should not put the bag on the ground or the floor while you are delivering, including when you pick up food at the venue.

• If the venue has a clean, dry surface, you can use it. A counter, shelf, or pickup station is a good option.

• If there is no suitable surface, you should hold the bag while you load or unload, rather than setting it on the floor.

Between orders

While you are waiting for an order, and you are not on a delivery, you should not keep the bag on the floor. Keep it with you. You should not leave it on the ground or pavement while you step away, for example outside a shop.

When you no longer need the bag

If you no longer need your bag, return it. You should not leave it on the street, at a bike rack, outside a shop, or next to waste containers.

Submit a return request using the return form. Pack the bag the same way it was received. After you submit the form, our delivery partners arrange a collection from you.

In Vilnius, you can return the bag directly to the warehouse. Submit the return form first.

Your service agreement

Your service agreement includes food safety and delivery quality. You are responsible for the equipment you use, including your delivery bag.

• Keep the bag clean, and clean it regularly.

• When you are not using it for a delivery, store it in a clean and sanitary place.

If your delivery bag is visibly dirty, contaminated, has an unusual smell, or is damaged in a way that makes it unsuitable for safely carrying food, stop using it and clean or replace it. 

If a failure to comply with the food-safety requirements compromises food safety, Wolt may end the partnership with immediate effect in accordance with Section 9.2(ii) of your Service Agreement. You can revisit the applicable food-safety requirements in Appendix 1 of your Service Agreement.

🫧 Quick care tips

• Clean the inside of your bag regularly

• Wipe spills as soon as possible, including sauce caught in the folds and under the flaps

• Use warm water, mild soap, and a clean cloth

• Clean frequently touched areas such as handles and zippers

• Leave the bag open to dry after cleaning

• Use the bag again only when the inside is clean and dry

If the bag gets dirty

• If the outside is dirty, wipe it before the next delivery so dirt is not carried onto your hands, the vehicle, or the food packaging.

• If the inside is contaminated, stop using the bag. That includes a spill you cannot wipe out, dirt, or pests. Clean it, leave it open until it is fully dry, and use it again only when the inside is clean and dry.

• If you cannot get it clean, or the bag is damaged, take it out of use and return it. Order a replacement in the Wolt gear webshop.

• You should store your bag in a clean, dry place

• You should not store it on the floor, outdoors, or in a public place

• You should not leave the bag attached to your bike in a public bike storage

• Let it air out when not in use

• Keep it protected from dirt, animals, and pests

• You should not use the bag for personal items

Small actions, real impact

Taking good care of your gear helps extend its lifetime and reduce unnecessary waste. Durable gear can be used for longer, which helps avoid unnecessary replacements and supports more sustainable operations.

Returning gear when you no longer need it is also important. Returned gear can be handled responsibly and, where possible, kept in use for longer. By keeping gear clean, using it carefully, and returning it when you no longer need it, you help support a more sustainable delivery system.
