Everything about how you earn, when you get paid, and the tools to track both.

When you get paid

Wolt processes courier payouts in four payment cycles each month. Payments are transferred within 7 days after each cycle ends.

Four Cycles, Regular Payouts

First payment cycle — from the 1st to the 7th day of the month • Second payment cycle — from the 8th to the 15th day of the month • Third payment cycle — from the 16th to the 22nd day of the month • Fourth payment cycle — from the 23rd to the last day of the month

Payments are automatically processed on the next business day after the payment period ends and transferred to your designated bank account — no manual invoicing needed. Arrival of funds may take up to 7 business days, influenced by variables such as foreign bank accounts. You will receive payment documents to your email.

Taxes

As a Wolt courier partner, you can choose between two contract types:

🔹 Natural person contract

  • Work directly with Wolt – you are your own boss.

  • Income (including tips) is Class B income, declared on a cash accounting basis.

  • You must declare income each spring via My VMI, where most data is pre-filled.

  • Useful resources:

    • Partner DeepFin for tax return support

🔹 Company contract

  • Partner with Wolt through a company.

  • Earnings are paid to the company’s bank account.

  • The company is responsible for handling taxes and salary payments.

Earning factors

Distance to the pickup

How far you have to travel to collect the order. A pickup across town earns more than one around the corner.

Delivery distance

Pickup to drop-off. The core of the fee — longer deliveries pay more.

Order type & size

A single coffee, a 20-item grocery haul and a pharmacy run aren't weighted equally. Bigger or more complex = higher fee.

Real-world conditions

Weather, traffic, parking difficulty. Tough conditions push the fee up so tough deliveries stay worth your time.

The fee you see is the minimum

Customers can tip you directly in cash or via app pre- or post-ordering. It’s a simple, convenient, and sincere way for customers to express their gratitude to our dedicated Wolt courier partners! Once the order has been received, customers will be able to leave a tip within 24 hours of delivery. Tips received via the app are considered taxable income. Please note that tipping is completely voluntary. Never ask customers to leave a tip after delivery! Our courier partners will receive 100% of the tips they receive. We are committed to ensuring that post-order tipping is a fair and transparent system

Promotions are paid by Wolt, not deducted from your fee.

Wolt doesn't use courier ratings for task allocation.

ETA estimates

Delivery-time predictions are shown to customers — they don't affect your fee.

Rejected tasks

No penalties. No score. The offer just moves to another courier.

Need your earnings before the next scheduled payout? You can withdraw up to 70% of your balance instantly, once every 7 days — a rolling window from your last transfer, not a calendar week.

A positive balance above the minimum threshold

1. Open the Partner App

Sign in with the account you want to withdraw from

At least 7 days since your last on-demand withdrawal

2. Go to Finances -> On-demand

You'll see your available balance (up to 70% of your total)

Verified bank details in the Partner App

3. Tap withdraw

Confirm the amount. No manual entry - it's the full available amount

Active courier status (not suspended or under review)

4. Money arrives in your account

Usually within a few hours, sometimes up to 1 business day.

Cash

Cash is now available as a payment method, creating more delivery opportunities and higher earning potential.

🛵 How it works

  • Automatic access: If you’ve delivered in the past year, you’re enabled for cash orders.

  • Order indicator: A cash icon shows before accepting, including the change needed.

💰 Managing cash

  • Carry change: Use small denominations to avoid delays.

  • Cash limit: Max €110. If exceeded, your account may freeze until you offload. Balance must drop below €35 to resume.

🏦 Offloading cash

  • Open Finance → Cash Offloading in the Wolt Partner app.

  • Enter amount, choose/add payment method, and submit. ⚠️ Offload at least once a week to avoid withheld payments or termination.
