Everything you need to know about delivery gear

You will need delivery gear that is suitable for your vehicle type and meets applicable food safety requirements.

The required bag setup depends on your vehicle type:

• Bike courier partners need one bike delivery bag

• Car courier partners need two car delivery bags to support hot and cold separation during delivery

Wolt offers delivery bags designed for different types of vehicles to help ensure orders are transported safely during delivery.

Depending on your location, you can either pick up your gear from a collection point in Helsinki or request delivery through Support in the Wolt Partner App. Courier partners outside the Capital Area will receive their gear via delivery to a pickup point.

While you are not required to use the delivery gear provided by Wolt, we strongly recommend using Wolt gear, as it is designed to meet food safety requirements and helps ensure a consistent delivery experience.

If you choose to use your own delivery gear, it must be suitable for safe food delivery and comply with applicable food safety requirements. Your gear must be reviewed and approved by Wolt before you can use it for deliveries — please contact Support through the Wolt Partner App.

A refundable 75 EUR gear deposit will be deducted from your gross earnings. If you request additional gear, an additional deposit may also be deducted.

If you want to exchange your gear and return the previous items, the deposit will not be charged again. However, if gear is not returned and needs to be replaced, an additional deposit may be deducted.

The deposit will be returned once your cooperation ends and the gear has been returned.

If your gear is lost or damaged, please contact Support through the Wolt Partner App. Our team will help you with the next steps and arrange a replacement if needed.

You can return your gear either by shipping it or at a return point, depending on your location.

You can make deliveries using a car, motorcycle, scooter, or bicycle.

You can also change your delivery vehicle during your partnership, as long as you meet the requirements for that vehicle and use the correct delivery bag and other gear for your chosen vehicle type.

Yes — you can change your delivery vehicle at any time.

Please inform Support through the Wolt Partner App when you want to switch vehicles. If you change your vehicle type, you may also need different delivery gear. Your delivery bag and gear must always match the vehicle type you use for deliveries.

If you switch to a motorized vehicle, you may also be asked to provide a valid driver's license.

Yes — courier partners are responsible for their own fuel and other vehicle-related costs when making deliveries.
