Everything you need to know about delivery gear

You will need delivery gear that is suitable for your vehicle type and meets applicable food safety requirements.

The required bag setup depends on your vehicle type:

• bike courier partners need one bike delivery bag

• car courier partners need two car delivery bags to support hot and cold separation during delivery

In Sweden, this gear is provided through a Wolt starter kits ordered in the Wolt gear webshop. Wolt delivery bags are designed for different types of vehicles to help ensure orders are transported safely during delivery. 🩵

You can order your Wolt starter kit through the Wolt gear webshop once you have completed onboarding and been approved to deliver on the Wolt platform. 

Your order will be shipped by UPS to the nearest UPS pickup point or directly to your address. There are no delivery charges.

Orders usually arrive within 2–5 business days. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email from UPS with tracking information. Please note that it can take up to 48 hours to receive the first UPS notification.

While you are not required to use delivery gear provided by Wolt, we strongly recommend using Wolt gear, as it is designed to meet food safety requirements and helps ensure a consistent delivery experience.

If you choose to use your own delivery gear, it must be suitable for safe food delivery and comply with applicable food safety requirements. Your gear must be reviewed and approved by Wolt before you can use it for deliveries, so please contact Support through the Wolt Partner App.

Gear is provided under a refundable deposit system. This means you will not be charged when you order your gear. Instead, a deposit will be deducted from your future earnings based on the gear you receive.

The deposit will be refunded in line with the gear that has been returned to us.

If your gear is broken, please report it through the gear return form and follow the return instructions.

If your gear is lost or stolen, the deposit cannot be refunded. In both cases, you will need to order new gear through the Wolt gear webshop.

If you want to return gear and get your deposit back, please start by filling out the return form provided by Wolt.

After you create the return, you will receive a QR code by email and SMS. Pack your gear in a box, take it to a PostNord office, and show the QR code there. Return shipping is free of charge.

Your deposit will be returned once the gear has been received and processed. Please make sure the information you provide in the return form matches the information on your courier partner profile. 

If you want to replace old gear, you will need to return the existing items first. Once the return has been received and processed, you can place a new order for a replacement item.

You can make deliveries using a car, motorcycle, scooter, or bicycle.

You can also change your delivery vehicle during your partnership, as long as you meet the requirements for that vehicle and use the correct delivery bag and other gear for your chosen vehicle type.

Yes — you can change your delivery vehicle at any time.

Please inform Support through the Wolt Partner App when you want to switch vehicles. If you change your vehicle type, you may also need different delivery gear. Your delivery bag and gear must always match the vehicle type you use for deliveries.

If you switch to a motorized vehicle, you may also be asked to provide a valid driver’s license.

Yes — courier partners are responsible for their own fuel and other vehicle-related costs when making deliveries.
