What is Venue Credit?
Venue Credit lets you reward customers who leave reviews, helping you build long-term relationships and encourage repeat orders. With Venue Credit you can access, read, and respond to customer reviews left after an order.
Some ways you can use Venue Credit to strengthen customer relationships:
Reward first-time customers to encourage future purchases.
Thank customers who leave great reviews.
Compensate customers who had a less-than-ideal experience.

How to access Venue Credit in the Wolt Merchant Portal
Follow these steps to send Venue Credit to your customers:
Log in to your Merchant Portal account and select your venue
Go to Business Insights and open Ratings and reviews
In the list of reviews, find the review you want to send credits for.
Select a review and choose a credit amount
Click Send Credit to finalize
💡Key things to note:
Credits are valid for 30 days.
You only pay for the credits that customers use. They will show up on your invoice under Product Sales.
In the Merchant Portal under ‘Ratings & reviews’ you can see the total amount of credits sent and used for the selected time interval.
How to customize the credit you send
When selecting a review in the ‘Ratings and reviews’ tab, you can:
Choose the amount of credit to give the customer.
Select a pre-written message or write a personalized one.
You’ll also see details about the original order, including:
Order amount
Any discounts applied
Whether the customer is new or returning
The rating given in the review
What happens after you send Venue Credit?
Once you send Venue Credit, the customer will:
Receive an email with details about the credit amount, how to use it, and your message.
Get an in-app notification reminding them that the credit is available to use and will expire in 30 days.
Be able to apply the credit when placing an order from your venue within the next 30 days.
Venue Credit FAQ
Do I pay for all credits I send to customers?
No, you only pay for the credits that a customer has used, after they use them. They will appear in a separate line, under ‘Product Sales’ on your invoice.
How long are credits valid for?
Credits expire 30 days after they are issued.
Is there a limit for the number of credits I can issue in a given period?
No, there is no limit on the amount of credits you can issue, but the maximum you can select per credit will differ depending on the country your venue is located.
Where can I track redeemed credits?
You can see the total number of credits sent and redeemed in your Merchant Portal under ‘Ratings and reviews’.
