Accessibility statement
Updated: December 16, 2022 At Wolt, we strive to make our website accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We are continuously working to improve the overall user experience for everyone, and are committed to following relevant accessibility standards to ensure that Wolt.com is as easy to use and accessible as possible.
Measures to support accessibility
To ensure Wolt.com is accessible, we are taking the following steps:
Including accessibility to our internal policies. For example, our standard pull request template requires the developers to pay attention to and verify the accessibility whenever new features or changes are released.
Appointing an accessibility officer (Antti Kosonen appointed on 9th of June 2020).
Providing accessibility training for our staff.
Assigning clear accessibility targets and responsibilities.
Employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods. We are using different external auditors twice a year to identify the potential issues.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Wolt.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA and is working on being full conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
