How can I get the insurance?

You’ll be asked to confirm some personal information and set a password. You’ll then be able to view everything on offer to you courtesy of Wolt. What am I covered for? Your insurance through Onsi includes Courrier Protection and Third Party Liability Insurance. With Courier Protection, if you suffer a fracture while making deliveries with Wolt you’ll be covered. You will also be able to submit a claim for medical and dental expenses, hospital stays, assault, permanent disability and accidental death. Full details can be found within your policy documents. Your Third Party Liability Insurance would cover you for the legal liabilities if you cause bodily injury or property damage to third parties while making deliveries or acting in the interest of Wolt on a bicycle or away from your vehicle. However, please note that if you cause damage or injury to a third party while driving a motor vehicle this would not be covered under your insurance with Onsi, you will need to contact your car insurance provider for assistance. Why have I lost access to my Onsi account? If your coverage is showing as inactive, this will be because you haven’t completed a job with Wolt in the last 90 days. If you haven't worked recently then your account will be re-activated when you next complete a job. This insurance is valid whenever you are working with Wolt regardless of if your cover shows as active or not.

We’re also developing the real-time Chatbot to assess the situation of a courier partner and respond to their needs quickly and properly.

Typically, it takes less than 10 minutes to fill out the application. If you’re new to Wolt, you’ll need to create an account, enter in a few basic details, and upload the required documents.

Make sure to download Wolt Partner App after sending the application.

Some people forget to download the app and this significantly delays the sign up process.

In the app you'll complete the account verification and move on to signing off the contract.

Without completing the verification you will not receive the contract.

You’ll need to be 18 years or older, and in possession of a valid work permit. Additional requirements vary depending on whether you want to deliver using a scooter, a car, or a bike. You’ll be informed about which documents are required based on your selected contract type.

You can deliver anywhere in Budapest, such as District XI – Újbuda, District X – Kőbánya, District II – Rózsadomb (Buda), District IX – Ferencváros, District III – Óbuda-Békásmegyer, District I – Várkerület (Castle District), District V – Belváros-Lipótváros, District VIII – Józsefváros, District VI – Terézváros, District VII – Erzsébetváros and more !!

You will experience a lot of impressions during deliveries. In addition to good experiences, there will also be some that make delivering difficult. It’s important to understand that occasional disruptions are often unpredictable. They can show up again and again, they are part of everyday life. You will not be the best courier because you are fast, but because you react professionally to every situation, pay attention to details, keep your positivity and look for a solution in different situations instead of nervousness. You may encounter the following obstacles during delivering: You have to wait in the restaurant Wolt’s platform has been built using a ton of clever algorithms to save time for our customers, restaurants and, of course, couriers using the platform. At the same time, the system is still operated by humanoids, and errors or delays can sometimes occur due to the human factor. While restaurants that deliver through Wolt can specify exactly when they can be ready with the order, there are times when they are delayed. If this happens and the app shows a minus time, go into the restaurant and POLITELY ask how much longer it will take to get it done. - If the delay is small and your order is expected to be ready soon, wait until it is ready. - If a major delay is expected, notify customer support and ask them for guidance. - If you already have an order and the restaurant is late, be sure to notify customer support immediately! It is not your job to educate restaurants. We regularly draw the attention of notoriously late restaurants to the fact that delays can be frustrating for shoppers, so over time, these problems are always remedied.

You can't find the customer If you can't find the customer's (or restaurant's) address because the pin you put isn't exactly where it should be and / or the address is incomplete, always read the Comment section within the app carefully. If you still can't find it, ask a passer-by or a local and ask him for help and directions. If you still can't find the customer, try calling through the app. If the customer is not available when you arrive with the food: -Try to call, if you still can't reach them, ask customer service for help! -If they can't reach the customer either, wait 10 minutes from scheduled dropoff time to see if the customer comes up! -If the 10 minutes have passed and there is still no information about the customer, follow support's instructions! -If 30 minutes have passed and the customer still hasn't contacted you, you should contact Support again and then you can destroy the order. If the buyer entered the wrong address: -Ask customer service for help and follow their guidelines! -Of course we will compensate you for the extra distance you have taken! Long pickup distance You may also need to travel more than average to pick up an order. If this distance is indeed abnormally large, write to customer support to see if there is a closer Wolt courier who is more suited to this address. However, if they do not find one, please start getting to the address immediately. What should I do if the customer says that the food is damaged or something is missing? It is important to know that you are the courier, it is not your responsibility to settle any disputes. We ask you not to start a dispute with the given customer, because this may even lead to termination of the contract. In this case, politely ask the customer to contact customer support. The arrangement of such cases is precisely their job. Also, after asking the customer, you yourself write to customer service what happened and wait for their instruction. You may be asked to go back for the missed order, but they may also be sent another courier, in which case you can go to the next task.

From 1 August 2025, there will be two payments every month. The two payment cycles are as follows: Cycle 1: every month 1-15. Cycle 2: every month 16-28/30/31. The system closes on the end of the cycles and totals the deliveries and earnings of the previous week. We try to transfer payments as soon as possible (we cannot transfer on weekends and holidays). The bank transfer will be made to the bank account number that you provided when you signed the contract, so please make sure to provide us the correct bank account number. It is important to know that the date of receipt of the invoice and the date of actual payment may differ. Payments are always made according to the above schedule, and we cannot deviate from it. If you do not have a direct contract with Wolt, but with a partner company or student association, you may ask them about your payment.
