FAQ for Wolt courier partners

Courier partners deliver orders from venues in the Wolt Partner app to customers on their preferred vehicle: car, motorcycle or bicycle. They have flexibility regarding when they want to go online and receive a fee for each delivery task.

Wolt courier partner is responsible for safe and timely delivery of a right order from our wide selection of venues to our customer´s doors. Besides that, a courier partner is also responsible for having required permits and licenses and to conform to local hygiene and food safety standards.

In Slovakia you can deliver with Wolt in Bratislava, Košice, Banská Bystrica, Žilina, Martin, Nitra, Zvolen, Prievidza, Trenčín, Trnava, Liptovský Mikuláš, Nové Zámky, Poprad, Prešov, Komárno and more to come.

Courier partners have the freedom to collaborate with different delivery companies as long as it does not affect the quality, duration and standards of the Wolt deliveries.

If you know someone who would like to deliver with Wolt you can recommend them to register as a courier partner but it is not allowed to share your account with others. You are responsible for all the orders delivered via your account.

Wolt offers you flexibility: - to choose when and how long you want to deliver - which delivery vehicle you want to use - to take a break whether it is a one day or for a two week vacation Additionally, Wolt offers discount on fuel from Slovnaft, insurance while you are delivering and various discounts for example vehicle service and equipment.

All tasks are automatically allocated to a courier partner through our algorithm by ensuring that the order is delivered to our customer as soon as possible. The task is shown to a courier partner in the Wolt Partner app with all the order details and then it is up to them to decide whether they want to accept the offered task.

Wolt as a digital platform does not limit when or how much you deliver, which means you can freely choose the hours you wish to deliver.

Download the Wolt Courier Partner app from Google Play or App Store and submit your application.

Besides having your own vehicle and mobile phone with cellular data, you need to be registered as a freelancer/ company director or you can have a partnership with one of our fleet partners.

Firstly, you need to download the Wolt Partner app and submit your application. Then you upload the necessary documents to the app. Last but not least, you will sign the contract and order your delivery equipment. After these quick steps you are ready to start delivering with Wolt.

Your application can be completed within 10 minutes and you can start delivering as soon as there is space for new courier partners in your city.

You need to upload an ID card or residence permit, food license and a selfie.

You will upload all of the documents to the Wolt Courier Partner app. The whole application process can be done virtually from your home.

Your account can be assigned to only one country and can switch between cities in Slovakia.

You can start delivering right after you have an active Wolt Courier Partner app, selected delivery area and you receive your gear.

Earnings depend on when you decide to deliver. You can earn more by delivering during lunch and dinner peak hours. If you want to maximize your earnings, we suggest you go online when you can see that there is "high demand" in your area, this status can be always checked in your Wolt Courier Partner app.

Each order has individual pricing. Before you accept or decline an order, you will be able to see the suggested amount of earnings you can receive if you deliver the order. This amount is affected by: distance of the order, type of order, weather conditions, rush hour and much more.

If you are a freelancer, you are responsible for depositing and need to handle taxes by yourself.

You can increase your earnings by delivering within peak hours during the day. Lunch time is the perfect time for more deliveries and higher earnings or you can turn on the bundle mode where you can deliver multiple tasks at the same time.

Any tip given by a customer goes to you in the total amount. Customers can tip in the app or by cash.

Wolt pays you the invoiced VAT-inclusive fees twice per month and emails you a proof of payment.

You will see the total fee for each order and the top received from the customer separately.

If you are delivering as a freelancer/company director, all your payments will be deposited via bank transfer twice a month.

You will need a delivery bag for food delivery which will keep the food in tact and warm. You can order a Wolt delivery bag on our website during the onboarding process along with branded clothes. If you choose collaboration via fleet, please contact manager of the fleet with gear order.

For delivery you can use a bicycle, motorcycle or car.

You will be able to order the gear during the onboarding process via link we will provide and it will be delivered to your address. If you choose collaboration via fleet, please contact manager of the fleet with gear order.

You don’t necessarily have to use Wolt gear. But you do have to have a gear that is safe for delivery and fulfills any applicable food safety requirements and safeguards food safety.

You do not need to purchase the gear but Wolt will lend you the ordered gear for your vehicle for a deposit of 50 euros. If you choose collaboration via fleet, please contact manager of the fleet with gear order.

Changing delivery vehicle is possible by contacting the Support Team but you need to have the required gear to deliver on such vehicle.

First, we reccomend you to make sure you and any other people involved are alright and contact the Support team so they can help you with everything you need and also take care of the order that was being delivered. While you are delivering on Wolt you are covered by the insurance from Onsi. To see more information about the coverage and to place claims go to the Onsi website, which you can find in you r partner app.

All Wolt Courier Partners while logged online and making deliveries have Accident and Third Party Liabillity (TPL) insurance. The insurance provided through Wolt always comes on top of what´s required by law. If you have an accident and are injured while online making deliveries, the insurance provides compensation for death, partial or total disability, dental injury, hospital sray freater than 48 hours, fractures and dislocations (excludes toes & fingers), medical costs, rehabilitation reimbursement and funreal expenses.

Yes. The insurance provided through Wolt always comes on top of any insurance required by law.

After downloading the Wolt Partner App, click the Login button and enter your phone number. You will receive a digital code that you need to enter into the app and then you are logged in.

If you want to change your name in the app, you need to contact the Support Team for help.

It is not possible to change PIN code for Wolt Partner App because every PIN is generated for one time use when you log in.

Pick-up task is a process that includes acceptance of a task that is offered to you in the Wolt Partner app and then taking over the order from the venue.

You will see the information about payment, pick-up time, the exact name and address of the venue and drop-off, if the order is a cash order, contains age-restricted items, etc. After pressing “Start” you will see additional info about the order such as the order number and the items included in it.

Drop-off task is a process starting after the completion of the pick-up. Drop-off task is completed after the customer receives the order.

Drop-off information is all the information needed for delivery, that includes map, customer information and all the details such as contactless drop-off.

Single task mode means you receive only one order at a time, one venue for pick-up and its drop-off

Bundle task mode means you can deliver two or three pick-ups at the same time from one or two venues which is effective when there is a high demand in your city. Bundles are paid based on the consecutive estimated distance traveled between the pick-up and delivery locations.

The main difference between those two task modes is the number of consequent pick-ups and drop-offs. On single task mode, you can deliver only a single order at once, while on bundle mode you can deliver multiple orders. To optimize your earnings, we suggest bundle mode.

Our algorithm constantly evaluates which courier partner is the most optimal for delivering each specific task. If you do not accept the task straight away or you have a bad internet connection the task will disappear as another Courier Partner might have become more optimal for delivering that specific order.

You can check your total delivery kilometers in the Stats tab in the Wolt partner app where you can see the distance traveled for a specific time range.

When the task is delayed more than 5 minutes, or you have another order with you, you can contact the customer support and they will help you with the next steps.

In case you can´t find the customer you can call them through the app. Please always check the notes for delivery, if the customer have provided guidelines for the delivery or perhaps another telephone number to contact them. The support team will guide you through your next steps on how to handle the order.

If you have trouble delivering a large order or the order does not fit inside your bag, you can contact the Support team so they can help you by sending another courier partner.

If the order is damaged it is important to take the picture of it and send it to the Support team so they contact the venue and also the customer. The Support team will guide you through the next steps.

The task can be marked as completed after being received by the customer.

When delivering a cash order please mark the order as delivered after you have received the full amount from the customer. In this case please contact the Support team so they can arrange it with the customer. Please do not mark the order as completed until you have been instructed to do so by our Support team.

Information about lateness has to go through the chat with the Support team and they will contact the venue and the customer.

You can't transfer to another country with your current Wolt account. Because the onboarding process is country specific you need to submit a new application and follow the guidelines of the local team.

If you are delivering as a freelance courier partner, the Support Team can handle city transfers immediately. In case you are an a Fleet company employee, we require an official request from your fleet manager.

If you want to end your partnership with Wolt please reach out to the Operations team via email to partnersslovakia@wolt.com.

Wolt can end the partnership if you break the rules within the delivering process or breach of the Service Agreement. You can click on the link to see the main rules.
