Your guide to getting more out of Wolt Storefront
Learn how to promote your Storefront online and offline, optimize your menu for more orders, and use QR codes to capture sales in-store.

Overview
- 1. Put your link everywhere customers look
- 2. Optimize your menu, pricing, and promotions
- 3. Use Skip the Line QR ordering in-store
Your webshop is live. Customers can now order directly from your own link for delivery or pickup. The key is making sure they can find it. The next step: make sure every customer knows where to order.
Focus on three things:
Put your Storefront link everywhere customers look
Make your menu worth buying from with a special offer
Use QR ordering in-store to save time and sell more
1. Put your link everywhere customers look
Your Storefront URL should be the main "Order" link across all channels. When customers want to order, be it for pickup or delivery, they should find your direct link fast.
Update your main online touchpoints
Website: Link your "Order online" buttons to your Storefront link, or add a new button. Put it above the fold so mobile users see it immediately without scrolling or clicking. Most of your traffic comes from mobile.
Need help? Wolt offers a smart "Order now" button optimized for conversion. We can help you add it to your website in minutes.
Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok: Place your Storefront link high in your bio with text like "Order from us:" before the link. Post regular reminders to order directly.
Google Business Profile: Update your Storefront URL under "Website" and "Menu." Keep your hours accurate. Need help accessing your profile? Click here.
Google Food Ordering: Your Storefront is automatically listed here. Set it as your preferred method: go to "Food Ordering" and select "Online Ordering by Wolt" as the preferred method.
Restaurant listings: Add your Storefront link to Tripadvisor and similar sites.
Don't forget offline touchpoints
Add your Storefront URL to menus, flyers, posters, and window stickers.
Tip: Our data shows that pickup orders often make up a large, profitable portion of direct orders. Highlight pickup wherever you share your link, and clearly communicate the convenience of ordering ahead.
2. Optimize your menu, pricing, and promotions
Once customers land on your Storefront, your menu does the selling.
Make your menu easy to choose from
Use high-quality photos for every item
Write simple names and descriptions
Group items into clear categories
Use promotions that drive orders
Create campaigns and promo codes that increase conversion or raise average order value:
Pickup-only deals (i.e 10% off takeaway orders)
Free delivery over X amount
Buy X, get Y
Spend X, get Y
Focus on pickup promotions for higher volume. Tip: Run one promotion at a time and track results before adding more.
3. Use Skip the Line QR ordering in-store
QR ordering captures orders from customers already at your location. It reduces lines, frees up staff, and increases sales during busy hours.

Where to place QR codes
Entrance and waiting area: Place codes where customers see them before they reach the counter.
Pickup counter: For customers waiting for takeaway.
Every table: Use table tents or stickers. Label: "Scan to Order, Pay, & Skip the Line."
Make it work
Make codes highly visible, especially at the entrance
Test the code yourself first
Train staff to guide customers initially
