Wolt Ads - Summer Contest Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction. By participating in the Wolt Ads - Summer Contest (the “Contest”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Organizer.  The Contest is organized by the local Wolt entity in your country of registration.

3. Eligibility. This competition is valid to Wolt’s merchant partners in the following markets AUT, AZE, CZE, DEU, DNK, EST, FIN, GRC, HUN, ISL, JPN, KAZ, LTU, NOR, SVK, SVN, and SWE, who are already registered at Wolt but have not used Wolt Ads before.

4. Campaign Duration. The Contest begins on 03.06.2024 at 00:00 and ends on 31.07.2024 at 23:59 (the “Contest Period”).

5. How to Enter. To qualify for the Contest, you need to: 

  1. Log into the merchant portal at merchant.wolt.com, and set up a paid Ad Campaign in the Self-Service tool, and  

  2. Have at least one Promo Campaign live during the Contest Period (set up either in the Self-Service Tool, or via your account manager).

Please note that in order to qualify for the Contest, the Ad Campaign must be paid for by you - only using a free trial offered by Wolt does not make you eligible to participate in the Contest. The Promo Campaign can be paid for by you, by Wolt, or be co-funded. Creating several campaigns for the same merchant partner will not increase your chances of winning.

For merchant partners in Japan: In order to enter, your minimum spend for the Ad Campaign and the Promo Campaign is 5,000 JPY in total.

6. Prizes. All countries except Japan: First prize: 1,000 EUR or equivalent in your local currency. Second prize: 500 EUR or equivalent in your local currency. In addition, all participants will be offered a four weeks’ co-funded Ads campaign, where Wolt covers 50 % of the cost of the campaign.

For merchants in Japan: First prize: 100,000 JPY. Second prize: 50,000 JPY. In addition, all participants will be offered a co-funded Ads campaign, where Wolt covers 50% of the cost of the campaign. 

7. Selecting the Winner. The winners will be selected by a random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period in August 2024. The winner will be notified by email and phone, using the contact details registered at Wolt, within 30 days of the draw.

8. Publicity. The name of the winner will be announced on Wolt’s social media channels.

9. How to Redeem the Prizes. The first and second prizes will be paid out in cash to the winners. The winners will be contacted by the email address and telephone number they have registered at Wolt, and payment will be made within a few days. The winner is liable to pay all taxes due upon receiving the prize. Should Wolt be liable to pay any taxes on behalf of the winner, these will be calculated in addition to the prize amount, so that the amount received by the winner is the prize amount as stated in these Terms and Conditions.

10. General Conditions. Wolt reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Contest, or any part of it, at any time upon written notice to the participants. Wolt reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any participant who does not fulfill the eligibility criteria or who it finds to be tampering with the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions in a disruptive manner.

11. Privacy. Wolt’s privacy statement available on wolt.com will govern any processing of your personal data in connection with this contest.

12. Governing Law. The Contest and these Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your country of registration, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
