Wolt's User Terms of Service for Catering - Finland
By placing an order for catering products or services offered by a Partner (“Catering”), you agree to be bound by these User Terms of Service for Catering (“Catering Terms of Service”). Please read the Catering Terms of Service carefully before ordering Catering. If you do not agree with the Catering Terms of Service, you cannot place an order for Catering.
Catering is intended for corporate customers. If you have a Wolt for Work Account, these Terms of Service apply to the Wolt for Work Customer Organization which has granted you the Wolt for Work Feature with respect to Catering orders made by you through the Wolt for Work Feature.
These Catering Terms of Service are supplemental to Wolt’s User Terms of Service applicable in the country where you are located for the Wolt Service. Any subject matter relevant for Catering and the use of the Wolt Service not covered in these Catering Terms of Service is governed by your local User Terms of Service, including any right to withdraw from your order as provided for in applicable laws. Any capitalized terms not defined in these Catering Terms of Service shall have the meaning given to them in your local User Terms of Service.
Description of Catering
Each Partner’s Catering catering offering is displayed in the Wolt Service within the Partner’s venue page. A Partner’s Catering offering may consist of food products for catering purposes, provision of serving dishes and cutlery as well as various on-site catering and delivery services. The Partner is solely responsible for the content, quality and packaging of the catering products and related catering and delivery services that it offers, as well as for the content, pricing and VAT rates that it publishes in the Wolt Service. Please read the descriptions of the items included in the Partner’s Catering offering carefully before placing your order.
You may place a pre-order for Catering within the time window as indicated in the Wolt Service for each Partner offering Catering. Once the Partner has accepted your order, you will receive an order confirmation in the Wolt Service indicating acceptance and the estimated time of delivery for your Catering order.
Cancellation and modification
You may cancel or modify your order for Catering only within the cancellation window indicated in the Wolt Service within the Partner’s venue page, unless a longer cancellation window applies according to applicable laws. Cancellation or modification requests have to be sent to Wolt’s customer support through the chat functionality in the Wolt Service or by sending a message to support@wolt.com. If you cancel or modify your order after the cancellation window has passed, you may be charged the full amount of your order. Wolt shall not be responsible for any cancellation or modification request you make directly with the Partner.
Should a Partner cancel your order for Catering after having accepted it, you should contact either Wolt’s customer service, acting on behalf of the Partner, or the Partner directly to resolve the situation. Wolt may facilitate a possible compensation by the Partner, however Wolt is not liable for a cancellation by the Partner.
Contractual relationship
When placing an order for Catering with a Partner, you enter into a binding purchase with the Partner in question. The Partner’s company and contact details are available in the Wolt Service.
Wolt is not in the catering or delivery business but provides a technology platform connecting you with a catering company that will also provide any delivery and other services that you have ordered. The fulfillment of your Catering order is subject to the availability of the Partner, and Wolt gives no warranty as to the quality or time of delivery of the order by the Partner.
Payment
Wolt, acting on behalf of the Partner, will charge you for the prices and fees indicated in the Wolt Service for your Catering order. If you have a Wolt for Work Account, the payment will be invoiced from you in accordance with your Wolt for Work agreement.
Liability
Wolt is not liable for shortcomings in the Partner’s performance of their obligations towards you. If there are any defects or other quality shortcomings in the products or services included in your Catering order, you should contact either Wolt’s customer service, acting on behalf of the Partner, or the Partner directly, and include a clear description of the defects or shortcomings.
Privacy
As provided by Wolt’s Privacy Statement, Wolt may share the phone number registered to your Wolt account with the Partner offering Catering in connection with sending your order details to the Partner. The Partner may call you at said phone number if they need to clarify any details with respect to your order or if they are otherwise unable to reach you when arriving to deliver your order.
